Former information minister Hasanul Haq Inu was arrested from Uttara area this afternoon.A team of detectives arrested Inu, the president of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal, from a flat, said Kazi Ziauddin, deputy commissioner of Gulshan Division (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
Inu was arrested in connection with a murder case filed with New Market Police Station filed on August 21, DMP sources said.
Several cases were filed against him with different police stations, he said.
